We were greeted by friendly staff and a very clean room with a beautiful view. The grounds are exactly what one would hope for in the English Countryside. We had tea in the afternoon and a charming conversation with some locals. We ate in their restaurant for dinner and had a relaxing and romantic meal. The chef was also very attentive to my various food allergies and made great alternative menu choices to accommodate me. Overall, it was a beautiful stay and a great price for the value of the experience. I'd stay there again in a heartbeat!
