Celebrating FIVE Generations Mon, 29 Jun 2015 15:09:52 +0000 We hold some very special celebrations at Langrish House, but perhaps none as special the afternoon tea we held recently in honour of our office manager Laura Keeping.

5 generations in one family

Laura, who has worked at Langrish House for 16 years, became a grandmother last month when her daughter Lucy gave birth to a baby boy, Arthur-Bay Booysen. This was no ordinary birth as it completed a remarkable five living generations within the family – and for the second time! Laura is pictured here holding a photograph of herself with Lucy as a baby (+ her mother, grandmother and great grandmother) when she too became her family’s fifth living generation. Joining the celebrations at Langrish House were Grandmother Laura, 47; Mother Lucy Keeping, 25; Great Grandmother Linda Shorey, 72; and Great Great Grandmother Vera Wake, 93.

Mum Lucy met Arthur-Bay’s father, Del Booysen, while they were both working here.

All five generations live in the nearby village of West Meon.

Business Networking at Langrish House Tue, 19 May 2015 17:02:31 +0000 BGN Business Networking at Langrish House

Langrish House is host to two regular networking groups: Business Growth Network (BGN) and Athena Ladies’ Networking.

Effective networking is all about developing valuable relationships over a period of time. It is about growing a pool of people who know about and value what you do.

A good network can give you resources, ideas, information, connect you to potential clients and give you the referrals that are so valuable to your business.

Both our networking groups welcome visitors, so why not get in touch and join us at Langrish House to see what networking can do for your business. We are confident you will enjoy it, and enjoy the benefits of it.

Business Growth Network (BGN) A business networking group of like-minded individuals who meet at 6:30am every Wednesday morning over breakfast to network, support one another and pass business opportunities. Contact BGN.

Athena Ladies Networking Rachel Maunder runs the monthly meeting of Athena’s NE Hants group at Langrish House on the third Tuesday of every month. Structured, but fun meetings aimed at increasing business referrals, developing members’ skill base and offering endless support and encouragement. Contact Rachel Maunder.
